Duggan Lynch awarded Walsh Whiskey Distillery Contract

Walsh-Distillery-Signing-1-2000x1400Duggan Lynch  have signed the contract for the construction of Walsh Whiskey Distillery in Royal Oak Bagnelstown, Co. Carlow.

The founder of Walsh Whiskey Distillery, Bernard Walsh said: “We are pleased to be appointing Duggan Lynch which has a strong track record of delivering projects to plan. This is the first time a purpose-built distillery has been constructed in Carlow in over 200 years. We look forward to sharing a dram of some historic whiskey in a few short years from now.”

Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny – Opens on time and on Budget.

BL5Q0427Duggan Lynch Ltd. has successfully completed the construction works to the Smithwick’s Brewery Visitor’s Centre at St. Frances Abbey Brewery in Kilkenny on time and on budget. This extremely challenging and ambitious project was completed in an accelerated 19 week programme, restoring an 18th Century Brewhouse and Barley Store into an Interactive Audio-Visual Visitor Experience. Exhibits include a Hologram Monk welcoming you to the brewery, in a monastery-like cavern, a recreation of the Old Smithwick’s Family Room with talking portraits, the modern day Brewhouse with salvaged brewing equipment and a new Tasting Bar and Retail Shop.
